In our second Act!vated Between Adventures, we begin in Smithfield, RI, where we stumble upon a colorful old family cemetery. Coincidentally, the family buried there is named Smith. Then on to Johnston, RI, where we stumble upon a whole park full of old Corvettes and other curious antique automobiles, assembled by the New England Corvette Club. And then on to Foxboro, MA (or Foxborough, as it’s sometimes spelled) to visit our son Zephyr at his office in Patriot Place, a shopping and dining center that also features Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots. Just behind this busy entertainment complex is a little known nature trail that goes through the woods and by one of New England’s famous cranberry bogs.
