This week, instead of exploring the great outdoors, we explore the great indoors. Which is to say we take you on the grand tour of our RV, a 23 foot Minnie Winnie that actually has about 18 and a half feet of interior, a total of about 148 square feet. But we don’t think of it as small at all. Come on inside and you’ll see how spacious it really is.
Having lived on wheels in a variety of vehicles for the past 27 years, we’ve become experts on converting tiny spaces into spacious mansions. There are two keys: minimalism (not having much stuff) and efficiency (making the most of the space available). Our possessions are few and generally tiny – though Dennis sometimes violates this rule by accumulating too many books (we generally rely on audiobooks instead). And we’ve learned to use every nook and cranny for storage or other uses; sometimes one space will serve more than one function.
Come along inside, and maybe you’ll be inspired to make the most of your own space, whether it’s on wheels or in the middle of a busy city block.
