Haunted Thriller – a Halloween Special – Episode 17

It’s the spooktacular time of year again. We love Halloween, and this year we celebrated it in New England in two ways.

For one thing, we dusted off our dancing shoes and re-learned a dance routine to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” presented by the RKO Army as a pre-show for a shadowcast of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. We performed it at a library in Rhode Island, the University of Rhode Island, and at a drive-in (yes, outdoors in the chilly rain!) in Mansfield, Connecticut. On all of these occasions, we were finally able to perform with our son Zephyr in the cast , which we never were able to coordinate last year.

Also, we once again haunted Barrett’s Haunted Mansion in Abington, MA. It’s consistently rated one of the best haunted attractions in New England, and for good reason. These folks come up with amazingly fresh and creative ideas for thrills and chills and terror every year. In addition to the mansion itself, there is also an outdoor attraction, which this year is known as The Sanctuary. Here’s hoping that all of your scares are as entertaining as ours!
