Slowly but surely, we make our way across the country. This week we pass through Colorado, where we encounter some snow flurries and the last of the chilly weather we expect to be seeing for some time.
On our itinerary is Fort Collins, where the historic Old Town section was part of the inspiration for Main Street USA at Disneyland. One building in particular that served as an architectural model was the Old Firehouse, which now is home to a bookstore and tea shop.

We also spent some time in Boulder, where we visited the Boulder Circus Center, and brushed up on some of the circus skills we learned at Acro Enso last month in Reno. Boulder Circus Center, it turns out, was founded by Lazer Vaudeville, a performing troupe that Kimberly was briefly a member of in 1989-90. We practiced the Cyr wheel, took more acro yoga and practiced some stunts for our new show.

Then it was back to driving the colorful road across the heartland, to Kansas, Oklahoma and Arkansas.
